Recently appointed Vice-Captain, Roy Purlan, invited all sections of the Club to play in a Better Ball Competition today. With a halfway house serving pasties and a selection of drinks players were able to take brief shelter from the dreadful weather.
The day was followed by an excellent two course meal and entertainment by way of a superb 70’s themed disco. The DJ Alan of DJ Services Cornwall put on an incredible light show with superb 70’s music!
The raffle raised nearly £300 for the Captains’ Charity, Cornwall Hospice Care.
