After last minute Covid infections reduced the final team selection, 7 Pairs from St Austell Seniors contested a close fought contest with Falmouth Seniors at Falmouth on Thursday 7 April. Winds of 40 mph made for tricky conditions for all participants, especially on the back nine across the headland.
On completion of play, the teams sat down to an excellent first dinner cooked by Falmouth’s chef in their brand new clubhouse, a facility of which they are justly proud.
